Speaker Rupert Dobson


Originally from the UK, Rupert is a BAFTA Nominated Veteran Producer and Development Executive with credits across multiple genres and platforms here in the US.
As Bunim/Murray’s EVP of Development, he oversees the studio's development efforts for broadcast, cable, and premium streaming platforms. Upcoming series include Buddy Games (CBS), The Family Stallone (Paramount+) I Survived Bear Grylls (TBS), and the second season of Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Fox), as well as the reality film Dead Hot with Vanessa Hudgens (Tubi).
Prior to joining Bunim/Murray, Rupert served as Head of Development at A. Smith & Co, where he spearheaded the creation of the Titan Games for NBC and Mental Samurai for Fox along with many others. He previously served as VP of Programming & Development at Base Productions and began his career in the UK producing series for Twofour.
