Sharon Vuong currently serves as Senior Vice President, Entertainment Unscripted Development for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. In this capacity, she spearheads development and current on reality competition, talent competition, and game show formats across NBCU’s Entertainment Television and Streaming portfolio, including NBC, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, Universal Kids, USA and Peacock.

In her post, Vuong oversees unscripted development and works in current, managing NBC tentpole hit America’s Got Talent, and the upcoming Peacock competition series Frogger, a larger-than-life physical competition series based on the iconic 1980’s video game.

Prior to her arrival at NBCU, Vuong served as as Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming at CBS Entertainment where she oversaw the development and current programming slate for all alternative prime time series at the network, including major franchises Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother, and Undercover Boss. Vuong joined CBS in 2011 as Director, Alternative Programming. She was promoted to Vice President, Alternative Programming in 2012, and from 2013-2017 she served as Vice President, Alternative Series Development. During this period, she helped develop The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey.

Prior to joining CBS, Vuong spent 10 years in unscripted programming in various producing capacities, working on shows such as “Survivor,” “Big Brother,” “The Bachelor,” “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
