Amy Introcaso-Davis is Executive Vice President, Development and Production, Factual Programming, Discovery. In this capacity, Introcaso-Davis oversees all aspects of Discovery factual development and programming for the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet networks, which includes strategy across all formats, including streaming. She also works closely with the creative community to deliver the highest quality non-fiction content. Introcaso-Davis is a four-time Emmy® Award recipient, is based in Los Angeles and report to Nancy Daniels, Chief Brand Officer, Discovery & Factual.
During her tenure at Discovery, Introcaso-Davis has spearheaded a team that has developed and/or produced projects including Animal Planet’s award-winning series Crikey! It’s the Irwins and The Zoo: San Diego, award nominated Animal Planet specials Surviving Joe Exotic and Crikey! It’s the Irwins: Bindi’s Wedding, TV’s original call-to-adoption event Puppy Bowl XVII, and the newest addition to Animal Planet’s wildlife conservation patrol programming franchise, Louisiana Law. She also oversaw the production and development of the discovery+ originals Pig Royalty and Crikey! It’s a Baby, in addition to upcoming titles Otter Dynasty (WT), The Mighty Underdogs, and Discovery’s first ever shark competitive docuseries, Shark Academy.
Before joining Animal Planet, Introcaso-Davis served as Executive Vice President Development and Production at E! where she realigned the network’s development strategy which resulted in the highly rated series rated Very Cavallari and the much-anticipated reboot of The Soup. Earlier, Introcaso-Davis served as EVP Programming and Development, GSN, where she oversaw scheduling, acquisitions, program strategy, development and production. She led the network’s strategic initiative to contemporize primetime resulting in five years of growth in its key demo of Women 25-54.
Before joining GSN, Introcaso-Davis was Senior Vice President of Original Programming at Oxygen Media and earlier served as Senior Vice President of Development at Bravo where she developed programming that included Queer Eye for the Straight Guy; Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List; The Real Housewives of Orange County and the development of The Real Housewives franchise and similar spin-off series, including Atlanta, New York and New Jersey; Million Dollar Listing; and Million Dollar Matchmaker.
Introcaso-Davis is a graduate of Drew University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts.
