Jennifer Caserta is Chief Transformation and People Officer of AMC Networks, the global entertainment company known for delivering some of the world’s most widely acclaimed television series and films.
A driver of transformation across brands, businesses, and culture throughout her career, Caserta is responsible for promoting strategic people practices and organizational design efforts throughout the company. She is charged with fostering a culture of learning, innovation and inclusion that helps enable AMC Networks’ long-term goals and objectives.
In her role, Caserta has modernized the company’s global employee relations efforts, creating new systems for assessing talent, compensation, and measuring success, prioritizing employee engagement, development, and growth, and expanding the company’s widely-recognized benefits and rewards programs.
A key member of the senior leadership team, Caserta has implemented new ways of working that dynamically bring together employees from across the company. She has also overseen the ongoing evolution of the company’s organizational structure, strategically aligning AMC Networks’ legacy brands with new digital and streaming products to create a more cohesive and efficient enterprise-wide team that propels the company forward.
Before leading transformation for all of AMC Networks, Caserta spearheaded the evolution of the company’s IFC brand as President & General Manager, where she redefined network’s identity, transitioning it from a niche independent film channel to a fully advertiser-supported destination for some of the sharpest and most widely-respected comedy in the business, defined by its “Always On. Slightly Off” sensibility.
At IFC, Caserta considerably expanded the network’s reach, bringing smart, offbeat comedy to audiences across cable TV and new digital platforms. She earned an industry-wide reputation for developing multi-platform initiatives and innovative partnerships, and for her ability to attract both world-class and emerging comedic talent, making IFC a home to critically-acclaimed, culturally-resonant original series, including Documentary Now!, Brockmire and Portlandia.
Prior to running IFC, Caserta was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Fuse, where she transformed the network’s music and youth-oriented programming launching the live studio series The Sauce and more, driving significant ratings and web traffic growth. Before segueing into management, Caserta held a progression of marketing roles at IFC and served as Vice President of Advertising Sales Marketing for Court TV, successfully redefining its trade brand. She has also held marketing positions at Oxygen Media, Food Network, Westwood One and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
Caserta currently sits on the boards of RLJ Entertainment, a privately-owned subsidiary of AMC Networks that includes the growing streaming services Acorn TV and Allblk; and Funny or Die, the digital service founded by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell in which AMC Networks holds a minority stake. In addition to sitting on its board, Caserta was a key architect in AMC Networks taking on a minority ownership stake in Funny or Die and is responsible for the oversight of leveraging that investment. Caserta also sits on the Executive Board for the CTAM Education Foundation at Harvard Business School.
Caserta is a passionate believer in the importance of mentorship, frequently connecting with rising leaders in the industry to help with their development.
