Ryan Pirozzi is the Co-Head of Content and Programming at IMDb TV. In this role, Pirozzi oversees all programming for IMDb TV, including development, production, licensing and strategy.

Prior to taking on this role, Pirozzi was the Head of Worldwide Television & Film Licensing, licensing television and film on a worldwide basis for Amazon’s Prime Video service. Pirozzi leads a team of content acquisition professionals that continuously monitored the industry for the best available content to license for Prime customers.

Before joining Amazon in 2011, Pirozzi spent seven years at the specialty retailer Best Buy where he led several categories, including physical and digital video.

Before entering the private sector, Pirozzi spent five years serving in the United States Air Force, where he held the rank of captain and specialized in the acquisition of major information technology programs.

Pirozzi is a native of Long Island, NY. He attended the United States Air Force Academy, earning a bachelor’s degree in Human Factors Engineering, and St. Mary’s University, earning an MBA.
