Joe Rivadeneira has spent the the past 13 years specializing in unscripted development and talent packaging. He joined Group Nine Studios to shepherd their premium unscripted slate in September of 2019. Since joining, he has sold a number of original series including the primetime special Girl Talk with Michelle Obama to TLC & OWN, six premium originals to Discovery+ and countless other shows to Facebook Watch, YouTube and A&E. Prior to Group Nine Studios, Rivadeneira was leading mitú's unscripted development department, selling shows to Paramount, Verizon Go90, YouTube Originals, Spotify Originals, Facebook Watch and others. Rivadeneira has also held development roles at Wilshire Studios, Eyeboogie Inc and FremantleMedia producing shows such as The X-Factor for FOX, Caraoke Showdown with Craig Robinson for Paramount, The Science of Stupid for Nat Geo, Baggage on the Road for GSN and That Awkward Game Show for Spike.
