Brad Abramson is Vice President of Documentaries and A&E IndieFilms and a two-time Emmy® Award-winning Executive Producer.
Abramson creates, develops, and oversees series, specials, and documentaries at A&E. He is the executive in charge of the BIOGRAPHY brand relaunch, and was nominated for an Emmy® Award for the documentary LA Burning: The Riots 25 Years Later. His projects include Garth Brooks: The Road I'm On, Gotti: Godfather & Son, Waco: Madman or Messiah, Cultureshock, and The Murder of Laci Peterson. Brad also worked on the hit series Live PD.
Prior to joining A&E, Brad headed VH1’s News and Documentary programming, where he created and ran VH1’s award-winning documentary franchise, Rock Docs, as well as managed the channel’s flagship series, Begind The Music. He also developed and supervised many hit series, including Hogan Knows Best and Love & Hip Hop.
