Brooke Townsend is Director of Nonfiction Programming and Development for HISTORY. In this role, Townsend oversees multiple hit programs, including Pawn Stars, Lost Gold of World War II, and Swamp People: Serpent Invasion, as well as maintaining a robust development slate.
A 6-year veteran of A+E Networks, Townsend began her tenure at LMN. During her time with LMN, Townsend was an instrumental part of the programming team that developed and produced, Escaping Polygamy, I Love You, But I Lied, and My Crazy Ex.
Prior to joining A+E Networks, Townsend began her career producing talk shows, including The Montel Williams Show, The Tyra Show and The Nate Berkus Show.
Townsend holds a Bachelor's Degree from Marist College where she majored in Communications. She currently resides in Farmingdale, NY where she's taken on her most rewarding role to date - mother to her adorable 2-year-old daughter.
