History

As Vice President, Development and Programming for History, Mike Stiller has commissioned and developed some of History’s biggest series, including the mega-hit The Curse of Oak Island, and the world-wide hit Ancient Aliens. Stiller developed History’s upcoming premium series, History’s Greatest Mysteries, hosted by Laurence Fishburne. Other recent commissions include Truck Night in America, Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation, and Lost Gold of WWII, a top non-fiction series launch in 2019. He has overseen a slate of premium documentaries including the Emmy-nominated Third Reich: Rise and Fall, WWII in HD, Vietnam in HD, 15 Septembers Later, America’s War on Drugs, and was an executive producer on Watergate, the film and television series by Academy Award winning director Charles Ferguson. He led development for History’s successful spinoff network H2 from 2013-2015, launching Brad Meltzer’s Lost History, a series credited with helping find the lost 9/11 flag.

Prior to joining HISTORY, Stiller was a writer for MTV, Nickelodeon, and Noggin. In the 1990s, he developed video games, includingMen in Black: The Game, and the award-winning children’s interactive seriesOne Small Square.
