Brent Hatherill serves on the content strategy team for Investigation Discovery, overseeing the development of ID’s original programming. Since joining ID in 2016, Hatherill has been responsible for developing projects with A-list talent, from famed novelist “James Patterson’s Murder is Forever” to self-proclaimed “ID Addict” Khloé Kardashian’s “Twisted Sisters.” Hatherill has also developed top performing series “The Murder Tapes,” “The Lake Erie Murders,” and “The Night That Didn’t End,” as well as numerous yet-to-be announced ID series. 

Hatherill joined Discovery in 2015 to lead development for American Heroes Channel and subsequently Destination America. Prior to Discovery, Hatherill served as VP of Development for Sirens Media (“Killing Fields,” “Real Housewives of New Jersey”), part of ITV and Leftfield Entertainment, where he was responsible for developing, shepherding and selling dozens of projects to various networks, including long-running hits “Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry?,” “Nightmare Next Door” and “Evil Twins” for ID. Other series developed by Hatherill include “Modern Dads” and “Panic 911” for A&E, “Philly Throttle” for Discovery Channel and Destination America’s “When Ghosts Attack.”
