Sean Boyle is a veteran television producer and serves as Senior Vice President of Development for Discovery. In this role, Boyle guides the network’s strategic planning, content direction and executes programming strategies through the development process. 

Boyle previously served as Vice President of Development and Production at History from 2015-2018. During his time at History, Boyle oversaw a wide range of unscripted series and specials includingAmerican RipperandThe Cars that Made America. He also created the annual stunt Car Week, which included “Evel Live,” the #1 cable special of 2018.

Prior to joining History, Boyle served as Vice President of Development for Discovery where he was responsible for greenlighting network flagship franchises “Fast N’ Loud” and “Street Outlaws.” Previously, Boyle was Executive Producer and Senior Director of Production and Development at VH1.
